("we", "us", or "our") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the 山顶Tutor application ("the App").

  • 词汇数据：您学过的单词、熟悉程度和查看次数 · Vocabulary data: words you've learned, familiarity level, and view counts
  • 聊天记录：您与AI助教的对话内容 · Chat history: your conversations with the AI tutor
  • 阅读材料：您添加的文本、书籍和章节内容 · Reading materials: texts, books, and chapters you've added

1.3 音频数据 · Audio Data

  • 麦克风录音：当您使用语音聊天功能时，本应用需要访问您的麦克风。录音数据用于语音识别（转文字），以便与AI助教进行语音对话。录音数据会被发送至语音识别服务进行处理，不会被我们永久存储于服务器。 · Microphone recordings: when you use voice chat, the App accesses your microphone. Audio is sent to a speech recognition service for transcription and is not permanently stored on our servers.

2. 本地优先架构 · Local-First Architecture

本应用采用本地优先的数据架构。这意味着： The App uses a local-first data architecture. This means:

  • 您的大部分学习数据主要存储在您的设备本地数据库中 · Your learning data is stored primarily in your device's local database
  • 本地数据使用浏览器内置的存储技术（IndexedDB）进行存储 · Local data uses browser-native storage (IndexedDB)
  • 部分数据会同步到我们的云端服务器，以支持跨设备同步和数据备份 · Data syncs to our cloud servers for cross-device sync and backup
  • 任何不需要第三方服务（如聊天语言模型）的功能，都可以在没有网络连接的情况下使用 · Any feature that does not require third-party services, such as a chat LLM, can be used without an internet connection

Your data is only shared with third parties in circumstances necessary to provide the App's features the you are actively using, such as the AI services, speech recognition, translation services mentioned above. We do not share your data with any third parties for advertising or tracking purposes.

After account deletion, your cloud data will be permanently deleted. Data stored locally on your device must be deleted by uninstalling the App or clearing app data

8. 未成年人保护 · Protection of Minors

我们重视未成年人的隐私保护。如果您是未满18周岁的未成年人，请在监护人的陪同和同意下使用本应用。我们不会在明知情况下收集未满14周岁的儿童的个人信息，除非已获得其监护人的明确同意。

We value the privacy of minors. If you are under 18, please use this App with the accompaniment and consent of a guardian. We will not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 without explicit consent from their guardian.

9. 数据保留 · Data Retention

  • 我们在您使用本应用期间保留您的数据 · We retain your data while you use the App
  • 当您删除账户时，我们将在合理时间内删除您的云端个人数据 · When you delete your account, we will delete your cloud data within a reasonable timeframe
  • 录音数据在语音识别处理完成后不会在我们的服务器上保留 · Audio data is not retained on our servers after speech recognition processing
  • 我们可能会保留匿名化、去标识化的数据用于改进服务 · We may retain anonymised, de-identified data to improve services

10. Cookie和类似技术 · Cookies and Similar Technologies

本应用使用本地存储（localStorage）来保存您的认证令牌和应用偏好设置。这些是应用正常运行所必需的，不用于追踪或广告目的。本应用不使用第三方追踪工具或分析服务。 The App uses local storage (localStorage) to save your authentication tokens and preferences. These are necessary for the App to function and are not used for tracking or advertising. The App does not use third-party tracking tools or analytics services.

我们可能会不时更新本隐私政策。更新后的政策将在本页面发布，并注明最后更新日期。重大变更时，我们将通过应用内通知或邮件方式告知您。
